Quick Answer
In short: level floor + power point + concentrator
Setting up a soft (mild) home chamber is deliberately simple — that is what makes it a home product. You need a level floor with clearance around the unit, a standard power point (typically a 15A circuit), and an oxygen concentrator that pairs with the chamber. It inflates from its own compressor, so there is no plumbing, no fixed installation and no building work.
We deliver the chamber ready to self-install and provide setup guidance so it goes together correctly the first time. Hard clinical chambers are different — those are commissioned on site by us — but for the soft chambers most home buyers choose, you can be up and running the same day. Below is exactly what to prepare.
Level floor + clearance around the chamber.
A standard 15A power point nearby.
Oxygen concentrator paired to the chamber.
Self-inflates, usually ready in under an hour.

Setting Up Your Home Hyperbaric Chamber, Step by Step
Prepare the space
Choose a room with a flat, level floor and enough clearance to walk around the inflated chamber and to enter and exit comfortably. Soft chambers take up roughly the footprint of a large sofa when inflated, and can be deflated and stored or moved. Keep the area clean and free of sharp objects, and follow the manufacturer’s guidance on keeping ignition sources away, since concentrated oxygen is involved.
Power and the oxygen concentrator
Position the unit near a standard power point — most soft chambers and their compressors run on a normal 15A circuit, with no special wiring. The oxygen concentrator (typically 10 LPM) sits alongside and connects to the chamber so the user breathes concentrated oxygen inside. We supply the correct concentrator with the chamber so the two are matched out of the box.
Inflation and first use
The chamber inflates from its own compressor once connected — this usually takes a short while, and the whole setup is commonly ready in under an hour. The manufacturer’s instructions cover the entry, pressurisation and exit steps; follow these each time. We include setup guidance at delivery so your first session goes smoothly and safely.
What we handle vs what you do
For soft home chambers, we deliver a genuine, documented unit with its compressor and concentrator and give you clear setup guidance — you self-install. For hard clinical chambers, we install and commission on site because those are fixed pressure vessels needing professional setup. Tell us your chamber and city and we make sure you get the right delivery and support. We supply equipment; we do not run sessions.
