HBOT for ADHD — the Honest Guide + the Chamber

ADHD is among the areas discussed in published hyperbaric research. This page explains, factually and for education only — including where the evidence is weak — what that involves, and, because we supply equipment rather than treatment, which hyperbaric chamber you would need if you and your specialist pursue it.

HBOT for ADHD — What It Involves, Honestly

HBOT for ADHD — soft (mild) hyperbaric chamber (equipment) in India

Quick answer: There is very little published evidence for HBOT in ADHD, and it is not an approved treatment. This page is educational only; any decision belongs to a qualified specialist. If HBOT is pursued, the equipment involved is a soft (mild) hyperbaric chamber, which TheHBOT supplies from ₹3.5 lakh.

Important — educational information only. This page summarises what published hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) research and clinician protocols discuss. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan, and makes no claim to treat, cure or prevent any condition. HBOT is not an approved treatment for this condition and the evidence is limited or contested — decisions belong to a qualified specialist. TheHBOT supplies hyperbaric chambers (equipment) — we do not provide therapy or run sessions.

ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) occasionally comes up in HBOT searches, but we should be direct: there is very little published evidence for hyperbaric oxygen in ADHD, and it is not an approved treatment. We are not going to suggest otherwise. Our role is limited to supplying the hyperbaric chamber (equipment) a mild protocol would use, and only where a qualified specialist has guided the decision. We do not diagnose, treat, or make claims.

What Published Research Describes — and the Equipment

The honest evidence picture

Unlike some other topics, ADHD has minimal high-quality hyperbaric research behind it. We are not aware of robust controlled trials establishing benefit, and it is not an approved indication. We include this page for completeness and honesty, not to encourage HBOT for ADHD. If you are considering options for ADHD, an appropriately qualified clinician is the right guide — not an equipment supplier and not the internet.

What equipment a mild protocol would use

If a specialist, for their own reasons, discussed a mild hyperbaric protocol, the equipment involved would be a soft chamber at 1.3–1.5 ATA — the same mild category used for general wellness — from around ₹3.5 lakh, self-installed at home. We can supply that as equipment, with no claim that it affects ADHD in any way.

Our position

We would rather lose a sale than overstate evidence, especially where children may be involved. For ADHD specifically, the honest advice is to work with a specialist and treat HBOT equipment as exactly that — equipment — not a therapy we endorse for this condition.

Why we stay cautious on ADHD equipment

We could easily list ADHD alongside other “brain” topics and let the search traffic roll in — plenty of sites do. We would rather be straight with you: the hyperbaric evidence base for ADHD is thin, and we are not going to imply a chamber is an ADHD solution. Money spent on a hyperbaric chamber is money not spent on care with a stronger evidence base, so for ADHD specifically we suggest prioritising an appropriately qualified clinician’s guidance. If, after that, a mild soft chamber is wanted for general wellness reasons, we will supply and support it as wellness equipment across India — clearly, honestly, and without an ADHD claim attached. That distinction matters, and we hold to it.

How we help — equipment only

To be clear about our role: TheHBOT.com supplies hyperbaric chambers and, where useful, builds them to specification on demand. We compare OxyHealth, Sechrist, Summit to Sea, Perry Baromedical and Fink, source genuine units, and deliver, install and support them across India. We do not provide therapy, run sessions, diagnose, or make claims about outcomes — least of all where children or contested evidence are involved. If you, guided by a qualified specialist, decide to pursue a protocol for ADHD, tell us the pressures it calls for, your capacity and your city, and we will recommend the best-fit chamber and return a delivered India price.
