The Installation Service
What Hyperbaric Chamber Installation Involves
Quick answer: Hyperbaric chamber installation ranges from simple self-install for soft chambers to full site preparation, installation and commissioning for clinical hard and multiplace systems. TheHBOT installs what it supplies across India, coordinating delivery, power, oxygen and AERB planning, so the chamber arrives and ends up working — not just delivered to a door.
Installation is where a chamber becomes usable, and it varies enormously by type. A soft chamber is largely self-install — it arrives, sets up in a normal room and runs from its compressor. A clinical hard or multiplace chamber is a different matter: it needs site preparation, professional installation, connection to power and oxygen, commissioning, and coordination with AERB and facility requirements. Getting a clinical chamber delivered is only half the job; getting it installed and commissioned to work is the rest.
This is the installation role in TheHBOT's value chain: we are installer, supplier, on-demand manufacturer, importer and service partner in one. Because we install what we supply and import, there is no gap between delivery and a working chamber. This page explains installation by chamber type and how we deliver a commissioned, ready-to-use unit.

The Service
How We Install a Hyperbaric Chamber
Soft chambers — delivered ready to use
For soft chambers, installation is deliberately simple: the chamber is delivered, sets up in a normal room, and runs from its included compressor, with an oxygen concentrator paired where the setup uses one. There is no major facility work — what matters is correct setup, safe placement, and showing the user or staff how to operate it. We deliver soft chambers ready to use, provide the manufacturer's setup and safe-operation guidance, and confirm the unit is working before we consider the job done. For homes, wellness centres and athletes, this keeps installation low-friction while still ensuring the chamber is set up correctly and safely.
Clinical chambers — site prep, install and commissioning
Clinical hard and multiplace chambers require the full installation service. That begins with site preparation — confirming room dimensions, structural loading, access, power and oxygen supply — and continues through positioning the chamber, professional installation, connection of services, and commissioning to confirm it operates correctly and safely. For multiplace systems this is a significant facility project. We coordinate the whole sequence so the chamber, the room and the services come together, and we hand over a commissioned, working installation rather than a delivered crate. This is the part buyers most underestimate, and the part a full-service installer most adds value to.
AERB and facility coordination
Clinical installations must be planned with AERB and facility requirements, and installation is where those plans become real. We share the technical drawings and specifications your architects, consultants and biomedical engineers need as soon as the chamber is shortlisted, and we sequence installation so approvals and construction run in parallel with procurement rather than delaying go-live. We do not act as your regulatory consultant, but we make their job faster by getting the right specifications and installation plan in front of them early. The aim is that compliance and installation are one coordinated process, not two that wait on each other.
Why install through the supplier
Splitting supply and installation across different vendors is where gaps appear — the chamber arrives, but the installer needs information the supplier has, and responsibility falls between them. Because TheHBOT supplies, imports and installs as one partner, there is no such gap: the same team that sourced the chamber installs and commissions it, and remains the service contact afterward. That single-point accountability from order to working installation is the main reason to install through the supplier. Tell us your chamber and site, and we will deliver, install, commission and support it as one continuous service across India.
