Oxygen chamber vs oxygen concentrator vs EWOT
Buyers often confuse three different pieces of equipment. An oxygen chamber (hyperbaric chamber) raises the pressure of the whole environment so oxygen dissolves more readily into the body — this is what hyperbaric oxygen therapy means. An oxygen concentrator, by contrast, simply filters room air to deliver higher-purity oxygen at normal atmospheric pressure; it does not pressurise anything. EWOT — exercise with oxygen therapy — has you breathe high-flow oxygen while exercising, again at normal pressure. Only the hyperbaric chamber increases ambient pressure, which is the defining feature of HBOT. They are not interchangeable, and one is not simply a cheaper version of another; they do different things.
